Project details

We acquired a listed neoclassical building on Evripidou 53, in the heart of Athens’ historic centre. It will be transformed into a collection of 4 boutique suites, each complete with its own living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and balcony. The ground floor suite will have its own internal garden, while the top floor suite will boast its own roof garden terrace.

Evripidou 53 is split over 4 levels spanning a total of 200m2 floorspace and has an additional 60m2 rooftop area. Extensive renovation and a complete reimagining of the currently derelict building is underway.

The property is only a:

  • 2-minute walk from Psyrri; vibrant restaurants and bars
  • 7-minute walk from Monastiraki Square; local markets and ancient ruins
  • 10-minute walk from Syntagma Square; the parliament building and national gardens.

Going back a couple of centuries, Evripidou street has been synonymous with food and commerce since 1886. At present, it’s known as the centre for Athens’ herbs and spice market, and includes specialized delicatessens.

The area surrounding Evripidou 53 has been earmarked for regeneration by the municipality of Athens. Semi-pedestrianized streets, hotels, local shops, and restaurants are being planned for the coming years.
